DITA Eyewear

Jeff Solorio and John Juniper created DITA in Los Angeles in 1995. The pair, who have been lifelong friends, have a keen interest in photography, film-making and design.

This passion is reflected in their eyewear products, ensuring that every model is a work of style, quality, fit and feel.

The sophisticated eye brand, with a vintage twist, has become a hit among celebrities and those seeking an alternative to more common sunglasses brands.

DITA is named after burlesque beauty, Dita Von Teese, who was approached by long-term friend, John Juniper and asked if he could name the brand after her. Von Teese became one of the first to model the brand’s stylish prototypes back in the 1990s. In 2013, Von Teese once again modelled DITA eyewear alongside legendary tattooist and cult icon, Mark Mahoney. Dita are proud to stamp their brand name on their product and have a bold claim stating: Wear DITA once and you’ll wear DITA for life.
